How to measure
Online Wedding Dress Measurements
To ensure accurate measurements, we suggest having your measurements taken by a professional seamstress. If you can not get a professional seamstress to take your measurements you should follow this guide to ensure proper fit. Please Note:
You should always have someone else take your measurements, physically measuring yourself will provide you with inaccurate numbers, so please have someone help you.
Wedding apparel is sized differently than ready to wear clothes. It is very important that you use this guide in conjunction with the size chart to help you determine your size in order to save time and money.
You will need to take your measurements in the undergarments you will be wearing with the wedding gown.
Be sure to stand up straight with your arms relaxed down by your side.
Compare these measurements to our size chart and you should have a good fit. These charts show how measurements are mapped to the designer sizes. These measurements are taken to determine the closest size to be ordered. If your measurements indicate one size for the "bust" and a different size for the "waist/ and or hips", we suggest ordering according to the largest measurement.

Measurements:
Bust : Not your bra size! Take the tape around your back and bring it across your nipple line (typically the fullest part of the breast). Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides.
Waist : This is the smallest part of your waist. Typically it's an inch or so above your belly button.
Hips : around hips at fullest point, taking note of how far down from the waist that you are measuring.
Shoulder to Shoulder : Only needed for dress with sleeves. This is the width of your shoulder.
Nipple to Nipple : This is the distance between your two nipples.
Shoulder To Nipple : Start the tape at your shoulder and measure down to your nipple.
Shoulder To Waist : Start the tape at your shoulder and measure down to your waist line, Let the tape across your bust.
Arm girth : This measurement gives me the size of the sleeve hole that you are comfortable wearing. This measurement is entirely subjective and you can make it as deep or as tight as you are comfortable with.
Bicep girth : around arm at fullest part of upper arm.
Waist to Hem (Net Size) : Measure from your Natural Waist to where you want the hem to be. This is a NET SIZE (No shoes).
Full length (Net Size: from Shoulder to feet) : This is the length from your shoulder to your feet (No shoes). You should stand upright and your feet should keep together. Let the tape across your bust (culmination) in the front and drop naturally.
Shoulder to Hem : This measurement is taken from the point which is on your front shoulder close to your neck. It needs to be measured over your bust. You should be standing in the correct high heel that you wish to wear on your wedding day. They don't have to be the actual shoes but an approximate heel height that's comfortable for you. If your skirt will be full, be sure to measure out at an angle to allow for the fullness.
Heels height : Please tell me your shoes height when you marry.
Last important : Please tell me how tall your are without shoes.

How to measure flower girl for flower girl dress size
First thing you should do before you place an order for the flower girl dress is to check the size of your flower girl. Most dress companies try to make their product the same size as child's casual clothes. However, the fit of a dress is basically different from casual clothes. Therefore, you should get the child's measurement first before you go flower girl dress shopping.
1. Have a measuring tape.
2. Measure around the chest of the child over her clothes in order to get the measurement. You may want to have a little bit of more room when you measure her since size chart of the dress is measured over a garment.
3. The length of the dress should be measured from the center of the shoulder to the point you wish the hem of the dress to be.
4. Once you get the measurement of your flower girl, compare it with the size chart of the dress on our website. If the size matches perfectly, you are lucky. Just go ahead, place an order and wait for your delivery.
For Tall Girl
If your girl is tall and skinny, probably the size chart we provide isn't close to her measurement. In this case, you need some work to do. First order the dress basic on the measurement of her shoulder to shin(tea length dress). Compare the measurement with the length of the dress from size chart and order the closest size. Then, take the dress to alteration shop to take of chest and waist.
For Big Girl
If your girl is little bit big, you may have hard time to find the dress for her. We suggest you to order base on her chest size. The most important part of a dress is the chest. If the dress is too small, you will have a trouble with the zipper or child may feel uncomfortable. Therefore, recommend you to go with size that matches the chest measurement. we could still adjust the waist by tying the sash or alter the waist and hem.
Maternity/Post Pregnant Bridesmaids
We often have bridesmaids in different stages of their pregnancy ordering dresses. Whether you plan on being pregnant at the time of the wedding or have just delivered and need to get sized for a bridesmaid dress, we have several options available. It is a challenge to estimate what the exact size a bridesmaid will be since the rapid changes and growth vary from person to person. Therefore choosing the right style and size is a very important part of the ordering process. We will do our best to ensure that we order the closest size for any pregnant/ post-pregnant client. If a client becomes pregnant and the order has already been processed, Jenny Yoo Collection is not held responsible for remaking a new dress and the client will be charged full price for a new dress. Below are some suggestions in avoiding situations like this.
How to Choose the appropriate style for a pregnant bridesmaid
There are many dress options that are appropriate for different stages of one’s pregnancy. Usually if you are up to 4 months pregnant, a standard bridesmaid dress can be ordered in a larger size to match the rest of the bridal party. Empire waist styles are the best alternative though. If you plan on being more than 5-6 months pregnant, we highly recommend choosing one of our maternity styles since they allow for more room through the belly. Please also keep in mind that bust sizes will increase during the pregnancy and should be considered when ordering the appropriate size. Remember, it is much easier to take in a dress than to let it out.
For Bridesmaids that are planning on becoming pregnant
If you are a bridesmaid currently not pregnant but plan on being pregnant at the time of the wedding please let us know. We will be happy to work with you and recommend the best option for you.
1. Estimate a size and style at the time the group orders so a complete party order is submitted.
2. Submit an individual order at a later time. Individual orders placed after the group have no guarantee of being cut from the same dye lot and include applicable rush fees. Once an order has been submitted it is final sale.No changes can be made to an order once it has been sent into production.
Pregnant Bridesmaids
If you know you are pregnant, you must consider what stage of your pregnancy you will be in at the time of the wedding. If you will be more than 6 months pregnant, we highly recommend you choose one of our maternity styles. If you will be less than 5 months pregnant, you can get away with ordering up a few sizes from what you are currently wearing in our bridesmaid dresses. Regardless of the stage of pregnancy you are in, empire waist styles will be the most flattering silhouette.
Post Pregnant Bridesmaids
In selecting a proper size for post pregnant bridesmaids, we must consider whether or not the bridesmaid is breast-feeding as bust size increases greatly during this stage.
We can give you the following options:
There are 2 options.
1. You can estimate and order the dress a couple sizes larger than what you are wearing and have the dress altered upon receiving it.
2. You can submit an individual dress order at a later time but there is no guarantee the dye-lot will be the same as the rest of the bridal party.
